    Default The tree that really wanted to be a mandolin

    Had to take down a couple of maples in the front yard, and was loading up the last of the pieces today, when I noticed this one. Double scrolls! Clearly this tree wants to be a mandolin. Rather curiously, I also found a section that looks like it has decent curl in it, so it might get its wish.
