Front Row at Sam Bush last Friday

Scored front row at the Charleston Music Hall last Friday night. What a great show! I even caught a pick from Sam. Ever the joker, his picks say "Sum Bish"! I will try to upload a pic of my....pick later. They did some of Santana's Soul Sacrifice during their electric song. Good times. I highly recommend him if you have him coming to your area.

I would like to second that recommendation. I was on the very back row in the balcony! I did not catch a pick.
What was Mr. Vestal playing for that song, was it a synthesizer? Sounded like a pipe organ.

When I saw him a couple of weeks ago he had a synthesizer banjo, or at least that was what Sam called it when he introduced the song.

I got a pick from the front row from him once. It was a medium (maybe heavy....but not extra heavy) tortoise color D'andrea teardrop shape. It was embossed with gold letters to read:
