Default Como Llora Una Estrella: Tablature?? Other Latin Music Sources?

I first heard this on one of Butch Baldassari's CDs' and was wondering whether anyone might have a tablature source for it? I found this beautiful version on YouTube.

Also, any thoughts on a website for Spanish, Latin American songs? I've found lots of sources for Irish, Scottish, Americana, Bluegrass....but hoping for the one source for Latin music.

    Thanks to all.

Al, I do have a tab version if you want, contact me off forum. I may not be available for a few days, going out to the cabin at the lake

I had downloaded it from mandozine.com under practice tunes in choro. Of course, it is a Venezuelan waltz, not a choro tune.

    Try this one:

    http://bandolinadevenezuela.blogspot...as-scores.html

Scores for 121 tunes from Venezuela arranged for mandolins in various configurations. It includes "Como llora una estrella" for solo mandolin, but standard notation only and in a technically rather demanding solo arrangement.

Sure got that part right! Thanks for the link, I'll hold on to it and maybe someday have a better understanding of how to play that.

And for anyone who missed it in the General Section....Nigel sent a link to this song and several others. Having a blast with them.
