    A good update on this thread is found in the reading of Tom Ewing's new book on Monroe. He discusses in depth about Monroe's first wife, the Bessie Lee divorce claims and last wife Della S. It seems Monroe never really lost it for the first wife as she continued to stay involved in his business life until she died.
