Stand for Banjo-Mandolin

Hi all,

Has anyone found a good stand for their banjo mandolin? I have an old Vega K-Style and am having a heck of a time finding a stand for the thing.

1) The head is too narrow to hang from a string swing or other hang-stands without all the weight being placed on the tuners.

2) A guitar stand is too tall for the top of the neck to rest against.

3) I just bought a Mugig stand, but being an open back the vertical supporters don't hold it up.

Your advice would be appreciated.

I use an Ingles violin stand for my mandolins. Can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work on a mandolin-banjo. It supports the back of the neck, not the peghead, and is adjustable for height. The weight of the instrument goes into the bottom arms.

I use the case, too many times bad things happen when instruments have been on a stand. Nearly lost a few and now if I am not playing it, it is in the case with at least one latch latched.

I have a clamp on the Music/Mic stand fork type made for Ukes and Mandolins,
that My Vega Little Wonder MB hangs from nicely
