Default More Pretty Girls than One - Lyle Lovett version help

Hi all! I'm new to learning by ear and need a little help with Sam Bush's solo on Lyle Lovett's version of "More Pretty Girls than one". Any help would be appreciated! Thank you in advance.

Well, she's in D chord. He does a bit of crossing over the IV. He pretty much plays the melody, with Sam flourishes. This was a good version by LL.
