That headstock looks like it was repaired.

Aye, very apparent... looks like a third split off at some point. Good luthiers should have made that hard to see.
I don't know if that's a reasonable price for a restoration job; but it's a cool looking thing.

That fissure is right on the headstock lamination .... May be a previous (non pro) repair or a partial split/delam that may need repair.
Seems a very fair price to me.... With the caveat that the bridge topper had some adjustment space under it........
I once owned a tg50 of about this vintage ....mine wasn't much to write home about in dgbe, but it really came to life nicely in cgda. Ended up trading it in on a vega archtop tenor, but it was a nice instrument ..... I like the the look of this one... A players instrument that could be used w/o the stress of owning a "collectors" piece.
