Default Getting in touch with Ben Wilcox of BRW

I am trying to get in touch with Ben Wilcox of BRW Mandolins to talk about commissioning a custom wide nut mandolin. Any idea how long it usually takes him to respond or if he makes wide nut mandos? I tried the contact me section of his website which does say it can take a few days to get back but it has been over a week now. Thanks in advance cafe people. I just want get my hands on one of his tasty mandos.

I know this is an old post, but I just found it.

I've tried to get to his Web site, but I get a "WEBSITE EXPIRED" message.

Does anyone know if he's still building? Has anyone heard from him?

I've wondered the same thing as I have one of his 2 pointers (nice!) and looked on FB for a way to contact Ben for some set up work.
There are three kinds of people: those of us that are good at math and those that are not.

I would also like to know how to contact Ben, I just purchased one of his A-5s (which I'm loving!) and would like to get in touch with him.

A Google search of his company name and the state he is located in comes up with a telephone number and an e-mail address for the business. He does have a presence on Facebook but the last thing he posted was in February of 2016.
"It's comparable to playing a cheese slicer."

"Bargain instruments are no bargains if you can't play them"

Thanks Mike, I'll look up that email address. I tried contacting him through Facebook about a month ago and haven't gotten a response.

Just an FYI for those who are wondering about Ben Wilcox...I had a nice conversation with him and he said that he intentionally let the website expire because he wanted to go in a different direction in terms of building mandolins. He's an artistic designer by trade, and is focusing on that aspect of his career, but would be making mandolins on his own terms and he's not taking custom orders. He's aiming to make rare one-off's. I think he's working on a J17 3 pointer with the hook scroll right now with an amazing new inlay design. I'm excited about where he's going with this!

    He also recently got married!
