    Default Tim OBrien lesson

I just discovered this excellent Tim oBrien octave mando lesson video and thought it might be of interest to others on here; anyone know of any other lesson videos for OM?

Yeah, I bought that as a DVD a while back, so I'm sure there are some copyright issues here. Looks like someone just ripped it and posted it.

For what it's worth, I thought the DVD was worth the money when I first got an OM, but as far as instructional material goes, it's basically Tim showing you how he plays the tunes on the most recent album at that time -- "The Crossing." Some good stuff there, but it's not exactly a comprehensive method tutorial. Anyway, you might want to support Tim by buying it directly. The DVD also includes a booklet with combined sheet music and tab of the tunes, plus chords for the songs.
