    I have played #58 and it sounds even better than it looks! Buddy's mandolins have consistently great tone and incredible volume. And even though he's raised his prices some, they're still below what other builders with his experience charge. Buddy is also generous with his knowledge, he has mentored me throughout my mandolin building experience and taught Darby of Rose mandolins the fine art of mandolin building. #I have no financial interest. He's just a humble guy who builds a great instrument,and if he hadn't helped me build my own I'd have one of his. # # Bill

    I really like these mandolin photo's on the wooden chair - gonna have to try that one next!

    I had one, which I sold about 6 months ago on the cafe. I posted it and sold it in 2 minutes flat. No lie it was that fast. It was a decent mandolin. Don,t remember the serial #. Sold it to a dentist in Penn.

    These pics dont do that mando justice in my opinion that mandos was stained perfectly the grain and figure in the wood are very sweetfor the money you cant go wrong with one of Buddies mandos...
