Acoustic jams/potential bandmates in Northeast New Jersey

I'm a guitarist, would-be mandolinist, and sometime singer looking for opportunities to play out in the Morristown-Summit area. I'd be happy to join or host a jam session, or to experiment with like-minded musicians to form an occasional band, playing moderately experimental roots music, including originals. I can offer a great acoustic rehearsal space!

Check out the Folk Project, based in Morristown, if you haven't already. Lots of acoustic players there. http://www.folkproject.org/ The host occasional jams in members' homes about once a month. Nice folks.

I host a monthly fiddle tune "slow" (all speed) jam in New Providence once a month. Let me know if you want to be on the mailing list. Normally 2nd Wed, but this month it is the 3rd (April 20)
