guitar question does Cordoba C7 classical guitar has solid top ?

According to the spec, it does say: Solid Canadian cedar top.
However, a friend of mine brought his to me, this one has the bridge popped off, asked me to help reglueing it.
Right at the center, I can see a thin veneer layer as the top. The wood under is laminated. The tuner hardware and the finish overall do look like a Cordoba C7.
What do you think about this guitar ? is it a fake ?
