    Default Interlude in D minor - A D Boden

A simple Trio for Mandolin, Mandola and Guitar.

After I started this I realised that it 'owes a lot' to another of my pieces, called Contemplation, but as plagiarism is ok if it's your own stuff you're ripping off, I continued.

Here it is played at 100 bpm, but is also quite effective at 70 bpm and using tremolo where appropriate.

I was checking Andy's website the other day to download his new La Follia variations and came across this lovely Interlude which I had forgotten about. Here is my home recording on a vintage bowlback, plus OM and tenor guitar. This is played a little slower than Andy's sequenced MP3, with a few touches of tremolo.

    1890s Umberto Ceccherini mandolin
    Mid-Missouri M-111 octave mandolin
    Vintage Viaten tenor guitar

    All artwork by Milton Avery.

PS: La Follia to come shortly, time permitting over the holidays!
