Thread: Closet find - old Epiphone

Default Closet find - old Epiphone

I recently purchased a mandolin that was in a dark closet for over 20 years. It is an Epiphone Rivoli "A" model #15775 - with OHSC. Possibly from 1939. It seems to be in very good condition; all original. The back looks like walnut and top has "F" holes. Only minimal usage on the first 5 frets. My questions are: (1) are there many of these out there? and (2) What would be a fair price for it, if I decide to sell it? Photos will be available when we figure out how to load them.

You can date it to a series of years based on the features here. Hopefully someone can value it for you.
