Fullers Vintage Guitar on 610 loop as the name suggests they deal mainly in Guitars and specialize in Gibson Accoustics. They have a good inventory of Deering Banjos. But not many mandolins really no one in Houston does. Great Southern Music on Highway 6 on the West side about 5 miles from I 10 has been around for years and Kevin was for many years the only authorized Martin repair in the area. Rockin' Robin inside the beltway nearer downtown has had a variety of vintage guitars of all types a cool store to browse.

Fuller's is fun. I met Harlem Slim there

Those were the days. It's a nice shop.

That's a shame. When I lived in Houston (13 years ago) Mike had a great stock of vintage Gibson's and a whole wall full of mandolins.

Rockin Robin had a few Collings on the wall last time I was there.
And you can get a really nice T- Shirt while you are at it.

As previously stated, Fuller's is really a great shop. If in you're in town on a Wednesday, there's a bluegrass jam at Hickory Hollow BBQ that is a lot of fun.
