What a hoot! Is there anything she can't do?
She didn't use a left-hand drill bit....
Bet she'd be a lot of fun though.
Now that is a LOT of toys!

That girl is AWESOME! Quirky, kind of attractive, and very talented. Loved it.
Here is the Weber in action.
so what's the guess on this place, a basement apartment? somebodys home studio?
the lady is talented, lots of instruments of all sorts hanging, sitting, around.

Not a bad cover of You Know I'm No Good. I've jammed to it on the mando, cool song.
I agree about the bass being too loud, but that can easily be fixed.
A quarter tone flat and a half a beat behind.
i think she could make it big on saturday night live, playing parts, and joining in the band-no matter what instrument.
one might wonder, is there a possibility of house arrest and you get to hang out all day and just learn and play another instrument

I couldn't listen all the way to the Sierra Hull recording, but, I thought this girl was great. I agree, though, sounds like two different people, talking and singing...
ok, somebody needs to track her down and have her come on board here and do a weekly mando piece.
it would be interesting, and probably a lot of fun for everyone.
of course, she may already be hanging around.................

A very talented young lady indeed, I looked on YouTube to find more of her videos and came across her website (http://www.onemanbandito.com). Her name is Callie Bradley, there are some samples of her original compositions under the 'other work' tab, wonderful stuff!

I guess there might be several people in that house who stumbled over cables and fell face-first into pointy objects. And the bodies are still in the basement. And she saves on dog food that way... It will all be made into a movie, starring Jodie Foster.

This gal needs to be on TV. Shes awesome.
“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around and play mandolin.”
I like the fact she doesn't take herself too seriously. Her admission of the complicated project was good!

I know this may not be a popular position, but, I feel that opening song "Wanton Mechanics" on her website is better than anything on the Sierra Hull new release. That is real, honest music, made by a really special, raw talent, without any pretense, it's just totally good music, without any restrictions that come from prefabricated barriers in BG music. Reminds me of our own Sarah Harmer here in Ontario.
Of course, that's just my opinion, and that is what makes music so lovely, we all have different tastes.
yes, I like this music too!

i had not partaken of the website yet, but i went there after seeing your post-this is an impressive video for sure. very organic and just fun to watch (okay, its time. i'm going to send her a note thru her website with this link. she needs to come on board and be a part of this.)
i'm thinking the young girl is Ms Callie and the man at the opening a father or grandfather.
very nice film to sit back and watch, and think, and relax upon.
Ms Callie has been sent a message via her website.
Her presence will be most welcome, along with her talent and fun nature.

We always did Stand By Me in the rock band I was in. I played it for a long time, so much, that it became our own version, it morphed organically to our own. I never tired of singing it. We outro"ed it with a guitar solo, played by myself. This babe just slays it, and, with bass accompaniment! Just wonderful, thanks, Darryl.
oh yes, I'm impressed. cute, talented, got it going on. Likely can read music and can play classical. Sorta made me miss Amy Winehouse. Her voice liked the power of Amy but was spot on and that may have been a mixing problem with bass too loud.
She's got it, no doubt. I listened to everything on her website and love it all. Can't wait to see what she does next.

Hope you poke your head i here to say Hey, Callie.
