    Default Kalamazoo bridge issue?

Here are a couple of pictures of a Kalamazoo I saw for sale online.

Why would this bridge sit so close to the f-hole? It can't be good for the mandolin can it? Am I missing something?

It's not centered, the strings are too close to the fret ends on the bass side, looks like it might be a little oversized too. I doubt it will hurt anything tho.

Not ideal, maybe it wasn't centered when they applied string tension, or maybe the strings slots are off center, pulling the bridge off center while leaving the strings centered. And thought it's not ideal, there's no structural issue likely to be caused by this.

Might be just the picture but appears way too big to me length and width, looks like a 2x4 on top of a mandolin. I've seen these on cheep mandolins before and most are not compensated, just straight across or if compensated at all just 2 string pairs back and 2 forward, needs a bridge IMHO
