I just this minute read about his passing on Google News. A very unique & individualistic talent,to say the least. I enjoyed many of his early recordings, maybe not so much of his later work, but nevertheless,a great talent,& a sad loss,

Indeed. He was part of the fabric of my life.
Very influential, very iconic, very much missed. Bowie helped me through some of the worst, and all of the best parts of my life. Much love to his family.

Ground Control to David...
It was heartbreaking news to receive this morning. I've found myself tearing up several times today. It is amazing how someone I never met played such an important part in my life. Strange.
I've been listening to Blackstar all morning. It was definitely an album from a man who knew he was saying goodbye.
