Thanks Ivan, the guitar's back and sides are from English walnut; I find cedar and walnut to be a great combination on small guitars.

Simply beautiful! I noticed that the four string guitar has classical strings and tuners, is it a tenor guitar or a baritone ukulele?
    Charley

A bunch of stuff with four strings

A stunning pair indeed Gary. What is the scale length on the Tenor!

''Walnut'' - No wonder i liked it so much. Walnut in it's varying guises is my all time favourite wood, especially the Burr variety,

    Hi Charley and Scott,
Baritone uke or tenor guitar eh? Neither!
The client wanted a short scale, 4 string classical guitar (DGBE) to suit his style of composing, so this is what we came up with. The body is based on a 19th century parlour guitar, but with the addition (or should that be subtraction) of a cutaway. The scale is 625mm using; LaBella make classical strings for that scale with a wound 3rd string.
The client has promised to record some of his compositions, so hopefully in a couple of months I’ll be able to share them with you.
    Cheers Gary

Nice Gary, I am looking forward to hearing it. I will venture to speculate that the tone is a bit warmer then a steel string and the strings feel really nice on the fingertips.
