I saw this on Pete's Facebook page before he shipped it to you. I'd love to hear a sound clip.
Definitely need to see a video of that beauty in action, with all its variations! Amazing!

Will see what I can do but I'm the least appropriate person to do it full justice.

Beautiful!
But Almuse is really playing with fire on that one....
Rickenbacker's legal defense of their designs makes G&^%$n pale in comparison...
Crossing fingers for them...
Are those Almuse pickups??

I know Rickenbacker protect their intellectual property with great vigour but I would doubt they are going to feel threatened by a one-off luthier-built version of a style of instrument they do not make themselves.

...and I'm guessing that they would....
Similar stories abound...
...and I'm also guessing there won't be a problem, as both of you reside outside the US...
Chinese RIC copies are seen quite often, for instance...
But one-off RIC copiests here in the US are quite familiar with "the letter"...

I'm now demonstrating the traits of a well-balanced, level-headed, Tenor junkie... I'm drooling from both sides of my mouth...
I worked with Michael Robinson of Eastwood Guitars specifically when he produced the Eastwood Astrojet SG tenor guitar as a tribute to my vintage 1965 Gibson SG tenor guitar, and his advice, based on his extensive commercial experience of reviving and building earlier classic models of guitar, was that as a one-off instrument for personal, rather than commercial use, he doubted Rickenbacker would care. Pete himself never even mentioned the matter and we did not actually discuss it.

Pete does such awesome work. I'm sure he appreciated something other than a Strat or Tele. I know he had fun with the Jazzmaster Tenor he did for me. Your 325 is beautiful, enjoy it.

Thank you, Charlie. I think he found the hollowing out of the body cavity a bit of a pain. He said the next Rick he does will have a solid body! Cheers, Steve.

Never seen anything definitive, but it is rumored that Tony Revell was threatened by Rickenbacker legal action for his mini Rick emando design.
