Question what are you currently listening too

purchased "Walk along John" by John Reischman and including some special guests.

very very nice CD. really digging the last tune that is not listed or named(calling it #15 for now). its just a mandolin with a neat ancient sound being played. bose has been on "repeat track" for 2 days now.

I'm wearing out "Lullaby of Birdland" from Bireli Lagrene's "Gypsy Trio" CD (2009). No bad tunes on this project.

Walk Along John is a great album, and most of those tunes are not that hard to play ( not that I sound like Reischman when I play them...)
but as posted in another forum, I just got "Baker plays Bill Monroe" - what a great great recording!

Larry Codle and Lonesome Standard Time's "Murder On Music Row". I think this is one of the best bluegrass albums ever.

Lots of stuff by 'Blue Highway' & 'Balsam Range' Those 2 bands seem to come up with some amazing songs & tunes, some 'trad.' & some not so trad. but always very musical. I've been trying to get my fingers around ''Bluebird Days'' - it sounds simple, but it's more
tricky that you'd think at first,

    Weber F-5 'Fern'.
    Lebeda F-5 "Special".

    Now we are talking.

I saw them at the Birchmere. They opened for Marty Stuart.

When Marty came on he asked the audience "How 'bout those Quebe babes?"
