    Default Windows 10: No Classifieds?

    Hey,

I am a Mac guy, but use Windows for some things. I run it via BootCamp on my laptop. Everything I've ever tried in Windows works great that way (since Macs are now Intel boxes), except . . .

Using Chrome or Edge, the only browsers I have installed on the Windows partition, MandoCafe works fine EXCEPT listings in the Classifieds. Blank. Nothing, not even just text.

I have no trouble with YouTube and Facebook. Might there be an extension I need to install, or something? Honestly, it's not a huge deal, but when I'm doing stuff in Windows and I get the yen to browse the Classifieds, it'd be nice not to HAVE to reboot into MacOS.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks!

    Stuart

I have a PC running Windows 10 with no issues on the classifieds via Chrome or IE11. It must be something other than your browser or OS.

    It's your personal firewall.

It's thinks it's protecting you from ads, and, guess what? It is. If you browse through the support Forum you'll see this comes up fairly often. Should be a setting where you allow everything from mandolincafe.com to be displayed. If you want to test this theory, turn off your personal firewall and then check. But do turn it back on because you need protection on the global internet.

Interesting. Makes sense; though, on the Mac side of things I block ads and see the classifieds. I'll give that a shot (looking for a setting to allow everything from mandolincafe.net to display) when I get home tonight.

    Thanks.

You might want to do mandolincafe.com.

Actually typing mandolincafe.net will bring you to the forum. It was the address in the "old" days.

I had no idea! I just typed ".net" as some kind of distracted reflex.

    Solved! Thanks, Scott!

I use Kaspersky security software. I found a section of the settings governing "Anti-Banner settings," added mandolincafe.com to the "allowed" list, and now I can see the ads.

I did not think of that. Thanks very much.
