Please help how to put mp3 on here

I took a audacity file made it into wav,, then into mp3 thinking I could load it. but it keeps saying fail to load.

The maximum upload size for an MP3 is in the range of 20MB. Anything larger will fail. To find the size, right-click on PC and select 'Properties' to see the size. On a Macintoh hold the 'control' key and click the file and select "Get Info" to find size. If your file is that large there's also a good chance you might encounter connectivity issues from size alone. The uploading is no different than for an image but must have the .mp3 extension. Sounds like you're doing it correctly but in case, here's a short video tutorial on how to do that.

To give you an idea of size, most of the 525+ MP3s on the Cafe's MP3 page are less than 10MB with the average of a 3-minute song in the range of 2-4MB.
