    Default Seagull S8

So some things haven't gone my way recently and I didn't want to drop a lot of $ on a new mando. I've got my Sweat Pea out here, but wanted something else. I found a Seagull S8 and decided I needed a feel good buy that wouldn't break the bank.

Will let you know what I think once it arrives.

Thanks so much for this community.

Hey, I like their guitars--and my 12 string guitar is by one of their sister companies--Simon & Patrick.

    So hopefully--enjoy!
Would it save you a lot of time if I just gave up and went mad now?

Mine came in yesterday. I used to have a Weber a Sweet Pea, so I was expecting something similar. To my surprise, it is much more comfortable to play and MUCH louder.

I'm really pleased with the Seagull. I used a piece of rawhide shoestring to make a strap and we're good to go. The sound is fine for what I'm using it for and what surprised me was it seems to stay in tune.

I have an art & luthrie guitar and a Godin Arch top guitar (both made in the seagull factory)

Those are always in tune. they build a solid product for sure.

    Enjoy it.
