Sam himself teaches that tune here, and PDFs with tab and notation are provided as far as I am aware (I don't own this yet)

Much appreciated, Jstring

rdb8847, here's the TEF file you requested...
the notes ARE all correct, but I think they may be off in terms of time value (what I wrote as a quarter note might actually be a half note, etc)
When I write something out, I usually just make sure the notes are right...I use it as an aid to remember how to play along with the song...
If you or anyone else would like to take what I've started and finish it for accuracy, go for it!
Jordan is the man, as always! Much improved...
Thanks for sharing your work.. It's a great tune and that's a great transcription!
thank's you all for help !!
this is the first (poor) result !
all the advice will be very helpful !!

If anyone has a rhythm guitar player they jam with, the chords are Em, G, E, Am and Capo the 3rd fret! Thank you all for adding the mandolin tab, I forwarded to my uncle who plays.
I have Sam's DVD that teaches this and I learned a lot from watching his hand position, movements and trying to mimic the motions, which is essential in copying this style--- especially the right hand. You've got to get comfortable with broader/more motion there, getting your hand to float when you do it and getting just the right amount of pick contact.
I also learned a lot about this style by working on "Evening Prayer Blues"- find Mike Compton playing it online. I find it easier to match how Compton does that big tremelo than Sam Bush
