Default Best old time tune book to get for a banjo friend?

A buddy of mine, great classical guitar player, has been getting into clawhammer banjo. I played fiddle with him while he banjoed out of his method book for a few hours the other night and it was a lot of fun- can anybody suggest a good clawhammer-friendly tunebook to keep him interested? I've already got the two Portlands and the Missouri and Fiddler's Fakebook etc, but those didn't seem quite right. I don't really know from clawhammer stuff.

Ok, now for real advice, if this book is anything like the Mandolin Fakebook, then I think it is a must have:

Old Time Festival-Tunes by Dan Levenson has a lot of tunes, each in a beginner's and an advanced version. It also has the basic melody in standard notation http://www.melbay.com/Products/20313...mer-banjo.aspx
There's also a book with mandolin tabs http://www.melbay.com/Products/21023...-mandolin.aspx

1970s book Miles Krassen Clawhammer Banjo . Been many years since I've had a copy of it, but as I recall, the tab was easy enough to read - bar lines in the right places, right timing etc. My impression was that it was easy to learn tunes from, and it had a reasonably good selection of oldtime tunes. I remember it as being edited/proofread pretty good, can't recall any obvious glaring errors/typos/etc.

It also had a companion fiddle book, Appalachian Fiddle by Miles Krassen , as I vaguelly recall it had the same tunes but written for fiddle. As with most fiddle tunes, you can also play them on mandolin of course if you read standard music notation.

I can't remember if either of those books show the chord names? maybe someone else here will know.

The banjo book hasn't. That's why it leads a boring life on my music book shelf.
