    I could never criticise Johns playing in a negative way but that still looks like his cut down neck guitar... I would of hoped some nice man would of built him a nice new long scale archtop !

    Wow that was great. John's brother, Jim is on drums. I used to see them play with a piano player named Chris Suey in Cape May NJ at a bar called 'The Shire" back in the 80's. Wonderful to see them still playing together in 2015!

    I believe this is the multivox cutaway archtop that Bill Styler converted for him. So while it is a 'cutdown' six string, it is a professional conversion.

    His previous guitar was literally converted (by John himself) on his kitchen table with a hacksaw, it still played and sounded great tho, i know cuz i got play it a little at TGG4. I have always loved the righteous mojo of the hacksaw guitar.....
