    I think he's got baritone uke nylon strings on this, but I could be wrong.

    Here is another clip from the movie. I thing it might be a small tenor guitar. It has banjo pegs and a bridge that looks like a steel string.

    When was the movie made? Baritone ukulele only goes back to about 1950 when Favilla started making them. Must be a tenor guitar. Cliff was a great ukulele player so perhaps he put ukulele strings on a tenor guitar.

    Cliff was a great Tenor player. He had Dobro design the Tenortrope for him - a resonator tenor guitar with a round body...
