Wouldn't miss it! Hoping for Friday but will take Saturday. Steve - will you have a builders exhibit this year?

Also hoping for Friday. Between vendors and stages, it should be lots of fun again.

I live walking distance to downtown Raleigh. I'll be at several of the Rambles during the weekdays, as well as the Expo and Street Fair on Friday and Saturday.

"JUNE " mandolins and guitars will be in booth 512 ,about the same spot as last year. They did a bit of floor plan rearranging. I am looking forward to it. No guitars done for this year but working hard on finishing up three new mandos. One top bound A5, one fully bound A5 (red spruce) and a top bound F5. All are x-braced and two are englemann. All are very traditional builds.
    See ya there!

I'm looking forward to seeing a bunch of folks and passing around some mandolins.

I think I got Booth 101 . . . which should be dead ahead as you tumble off the escalator.

In addition to the regular set of demo mandolins, I'll have the FX and AX prototypes as well as a re-topped Pacifica (004) and the BigDog Octave that I've been working on for Darren Nicholson.

Can't wait to see what comes to pass this year during the convention! There always seems to be some sort of cool surprise that makes the week special.

I'll be doing the volunteer thing again, not sure where they have me this year. Looking forward to it all - showcases, vendor booths, wandering the halls, jamming, shake and howdy with old and new friends, California Suite, etc., etc.

I would love to be there, but I haven't been able to make the trip since the venue left Nashville. I understand that the new location is wonderful!

I'll be there, volunteering three of the days and enjoying music otherwise when the work schedule permits.

In a different thread, I suggested that people interested in a short side trip could head three miles from downtown to get a pic of themselves at the Mandolin, which is a restaurant but could be considered an actual Mandolin cafe.

Yes! Flying in tomorrow, there through Sunday morning. Would love to be part of any meet and greet if it works out schedule-wise. Really stoked to finally meet AlanN! See you all soon.

Jordan!! How cool that you will be here, will be a thrill to meet you and pick a Dawggy tune or 3! And good idea for a meet-up, Atlanta Mando Mike. The exhibit hall might be a good place to connect, a bit raucous to catch all of the dulcet tones we will surely make, but we can find a corner somewhere. Can't wait!

I'll be there Friday and Saturday and can't wait to get to the exhibit hall to see and play what's there. Sure hope the weather turns out better than what is forecast.

Ok, my mando brethren, let's pick a day/time/place. I was on-site today at the Registration Desk (couldn't stay beyond noon, though) and will be there tomorrow and Friday, same place. I ran into Tony Williamson, Frank Solivan, Raymond McClain, Steve Gulley, a Japanese picker with the Bluegrass 45 (with a '41 F-5). As time permits - and will open up as the week goes on -, will be at Exhibit Hall, Marriott, etc. I will be carting around a grey-Colorado cover, Hoffee mandolin case with a Staff T shirt on.

Somebody give us a report on the Sorensen AX model, the Northfield artist models, and any other mandos you come across. Please!

    Hi Alan,
Since you are volunteering perhaps you have access to accurate informatio: The IBMA website, app, and printed material state conflicting hours for the Expo on Friday and Saturday. Some say 9-9, some 11-6. Do you know the correct hours?
