I just recently purchased a mandolin built by Brad Donaldson on Ebay. It is 14 years old and plays so sweetly! Anyone ever own or presently own an instrument built by him? He also made guitars and ukuleles.
thanks!

Yipe, assuming this is the one you bought, that was a complete steal. Would have been around $1800 when it was new.

I've owned a Donaldson F style, No. 59, for 20 years. His were the first good small-shop instruments I came across, and mine has held up nicely.
Brad moved from the Seattle area down to Cannon Beach, Oregon a few years back, and is building again, but only ukuleles as far as I know.
