Default Jackie Small's Jig on Gibson A-9

Learned from Páraic Mac Donnchadha (Banjo Workshop) at Feakle Festival, Co. Clare, Ireland, August 2015. Slow version to help me remember the tune! Recorded overlooking Lough Cullin, Co. Mayo. Gibson A-9 Mandolin - 2004.

(note to self - must learn to close mouth when concentrating!!)

A really nice rendition, bodatcha. It reminded me that, a while back, I was experimenting playing some tunes down a fifth with pleasing results. I must start doing that again!

Thanks Driftwood...I like shifting down the strings too..although this was taught to me as being it's normal key (Ami)I found it's often played in Emi too....

Been a long time lurking on these pages. Thought it was time to contribute something!
