I just caught the end of a Kentucky Fried Chicken ad on TV. I didn't hear the dialog but I did see The Colonel and 4 young ladies playing (holding) mandolins and 1 on bass behind him. "Finger Pickin' Good"? Nah!

I've seen several different variations of the new KFC ads with this new Colonel Sanders impersonator. I hated them at first, but they're growing on me. Snarky and corny, but amusing. The "big ol' cookie" line makes me smile.
The mandolin part is actually a reference to historical fact. They just should have used Kay mandolins.

I thought he was creepy at first, but I have found myself laughing when I see him now!
I usually don't watch commercials, but anything with mandolin content gets my attention.
I think we should have a contest to see who could recreate the best version of that commercial! Maybe win a pencil or something.
