Default Nathan redelphs plays a scout made from palo escrito and cedar

Nathan has made another excellent recording, this time on one of Andy Poe's Scout mandolins made with a cedar top and Palo Escrito back and sides ( a member of the rosewood family). This alternative to traditional mandolin wood sounds great.

    Wow, beautiful sound.

Its an argument for flatty if there ever was one.
A talent for trivializin' the momentous and complicatin' the obvious.

    The entire staff

Sound is in the ear of the beholder.
Poe #61 is nice but #60, the spruce/ebony Scout from the previous
thread and #62 cedar/Ovangkol have my full attention. I've always
enjoyed the beauty of Andrews work. But, now hearing these new
offerings I'm thinking I need a new mandola.
    Here's #62.

Awesome sound and style. A fine recording!

Would you please tell me that if you are using a mic or HD camera for recording? I'm going to have a cheap mic which is okay for fine recording.
