Default Eric Skye's 30 Day Guitar Challenge

    Hi,

This is from cafe member Eric Skye who works with mandolinist Tim Connell at times. His thoughts on how to try and be the best player you can. I thought it was excellent, but have not seen it mentioned elsewhere. Not really instrument specific either.

Just watched the groove lesson. It's something really great to work on. Thanks for posting this. I have been an Eric Skye fan for along time but I hadn't seen that he had posted this.

I didn't know about this, but am looking forward to checking it out. I am also a fan of Eric's and have watched the following video plenty of times. Now I have an excuse to post it (no mandolin content).

Awesome - I love this kind of thing.

As he says in the intro, it's easy enough to look up the notation for a new tune, but really getting at the deeper bits of how other musicians think about music and how they approach making music is so interesting.

Just for some mandolin content, the Eric Skye Trio has a mandolin in it.

I met Eric at a workshop not long ago, really cool guy and a very unique artist
