Ethan Setiawan on Prarie Home Companion

Ethan Setiawan, the 17 y/o National Mandolin Champion, will be performing on A Prarie Home Companion tomorrow night, May 2nd. Garrison Keillor has taken a liking to Goshen, IN and Goshen College. The show will be held in Sauder Hall in the Music Center of Goshen College.

Disclaimer: I am a totally biased friend and fan as I used to jam with Ethan (till he left me in the dust long ago), I've had the joy of watching him grow as a musician, and he's supported my son's growth as a musician by helping to anchor jazz jams we held in our home. So, watching the local boy make good has been a blast!

Hi Phil,

As I'm in the Boston area, I won't be able to see the concert, but I once jammed with Ethan while he was in Boston doing a music program at Berklee. What a talented musician, with a creative and unique style too. Wish I could come!
