Good morning all, so I am really working hard right now on my right hand and some rhythmic techniques employed most notably by Sam Bush (and a couple others too of course). So, I am wondering if anybody has any specific tips/tricks or insight as to Sam's syncopated right hand chops (the big tremelo'd flurry w/ the right hand as heard in his turn arounds, etc. while singing, like in Circles around Me or Bringing in that Georgia Mail). What is going on here? Anyone out there consider themselves an expert in this aspect of playing? Im trying to break down specifically what he's doing. Does anyone have a slowed-down or counted out example of this technique? I know Im being a little vague in what Im asking for. I am practicing this stuff a lot, listening to Sam and Jacob Joliff, etc. to absorb this approach and because I like to read/see music as Im learning I was hoping to find an explanation or example of some kind. Thank you everyone. have a great day!
