Thread: Post a picture of your mic stand set-up

Default Post a picture of your mic stand set-up

I looked but didn't see a topic for this already, and figured it could be helpful for sharing information about various equipment for different playing out situations. Here is my latest configuration for electric mandolin and fiddle that I can fit into one case for easy transport.

Now, if I could only figure out how to post all the pictures the same direction...

I recognize the stainless steel strips from bicycle rack mounting parts ..
too bad the 1st and 4th picture are rotated 90 degrees to the left .
any IT forum mods able to fix that?

Yes, the music stand is attached to the string swing twin hanger with parts from a bicycle rack mount. I'm also posting these on an external site to see if I can get the correct position for those two images and one that shows how the stand is held in position using a plumbing fixture and a carabiner. The whole unit assembles in less than 5 minutes compared to 10-15 when I had to clamp on three separate hangers (one for the mando, fiddle and music stand).

Mandroid, have you tried Industrial Strength Velcro? I have found it to be quite useful for attaching things that you need secure when it is in place but that might need to be removed at some point.

Already used 2" wide sticky-back velcro to make the RMC Poly Drive II black Box Handy on the music stand shaft.

just the shop selling the stuff inconveniently moved to a strip mall with more parking. across Young's Bay bridge.
