I had no idea that was wood binding. Should have realized from the context of the thread. If it looks like plastic, might as well use plastic IMO. I'm sure it's a selling point for some.

Actually Clint, I was referring to the "through the nose" reflex, coffee, tea or water is much less miserable than carbonated beverages. The picking ability without liquid augmentation remains to be seen under a more strenuous occasion. Thanks for the encouragement though!
