    Don't appear to be too eager - like asking if you can leave your instruments if they invite you back next year... (more usual with bagpipers and accordionists - and some banjo players)...

    But yeah - there are a lot of factors involved with gigs, and if you ever get all of them right, you'll be amazed and talk about that gig in glowing terms forever. I'm real happy with 75%. If it ever happens.
