    Default Live in Indiana?

    Join Indiana Mando-Geeks!

The sweetest mandolin cafe social group out there.

    http://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/group.php?groupid=298

We even have our own google doc for jam sessions in Indiana. Well, the document isn't complete yet, however I'm looking forward to its completion as anyone who knows whats current on jams in Indiana can edit it.

I think we might even have a mandolin camping trip in the works.

Anyway, I thought this would be a cool way for mando-geeks in the hoosier state to band together.

I'm just north of Indianapolis. Anyone know of any jams in the Carmel/Westfield/Noblesville/Zionsville area or would like to start one?

there is a jam the 2nd sunday on the west side I went to last month. Good fellas, there were only 5 of us. We ought to just start one up north, there are several of us in the area. I live in the noblesville/pendleton area. Van1684 (another member) and I did a bit of picking last weekend at his business. There is another member moving from atlanta coming to indy in a week or so, MSalisbury. We got enough pickers to put something together. DargDog is somewhere around here too.

I think we could put something together on the 12th, week after easter.

Kinda why I started the social group Indiana Mando-Geeks, check out the google doc that I made on it. Well here is the link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

Those are the jams that I've complied so far. Feel free to edit as you find others, all you need is the link to change anything.

Thanks Zeek! Let me know if you guys decide to put something together. I want to get better at jamming, but haven't found people to jam with on a regular basis. I'm excited to join a group!

Worthy of a mandocake for sure (but not a banjo cake ... we don't make those around here!)

I could definitely be in for a jam session, though I am still quite the newbie.

I may have a great location for us to use if we get a Mando camp weekend set-up. It's in a slice of God's country in southern Montgomery County.

I'm a couple hours from Indy, so I spend a lot of time being the only mando in guitar jams (which is rather fun, actually).

There is a jam in Sheridan, IN the third Sunday of each month. It goes from 1 to 5 and is at the local library. It is mentioned on the Sheridan Public Library website.

    Scott,

I live 1/2 mile south of the Bal Hinch store on 47. The place I was discussing to camp is out that way as well.

I see you are from Waynetown. I go the the Bar and Grill on open stage nights and sing some harmonies with Eric Barr.
