    Default Stathopoulo Flattop 1913

    Man, I was second highest bidder on this one. I hate when that happens. I'd rather have missed it by a few hundred than a few dollars.

    In any case, I love the simplicity and the black finish. Looks like it would only need a little work (I would hope). Did anyone win this?

    Very cool mandolin. I have always wondered why the Stathopoulo family/Epiphone never put a single mandolin in any catalog until the 30s.

    yikes. I forgot to bid!!! I had it in my watch list and forgot about it. probably a find. I have two stathoupoulo bouzoukis and one laouto and they are perfect finds, each in their own way.
