I am looking at buying this book, and have read a bunch on this forum recommending it, but I have a specific question for those who own it. Is it the kind of book where you can progress through it page by page, day by day? I have the Berklee Guitar Method and I love that I can bookmark the page I am on and do that exercise and try to understand what it is teaching me, and then tomorrow (or a month later) I can go to the next page and it is one step harder, or introduces the next learning point. I have mandolin for dummies, and have looked at mandolin exercises for dummies, but my impression is that one would be better to skip between sections, otherwise you will learn ALL the seventh chords followed by ALL the major scales, then ALL the minor chords. Can anyone recommend a method that is like this? Maybe a modern one... I will eventually look at classical methods, but that will come later for me. Thanks in advance to all.
