Default mando-centric luthier in central NJ?

I need to have some frets replaced on my mandolin. It's just a Breedlove and I realize it looks a little silly but the tone is good and it's easy to play. Anyhow I need a couple new frets due to extreme wear. I don't know any luthiers around here (central NJ) that I'd trust with a mandolin. I don't really mind boxing it up and sending it out, if it comes to that. Any recommendations as to who I might hire to get it fixed up? Thanks.

Mike the Moderator probably knows 1 or 2. There used to be a guy Paul Unkert, he may do fret work.

Paul Unkert is in Toms River. He did the frets on my friend Al's Gibson Fern. His website is at www.theoriginalguitarguy.com. Call him, he's not into e-mail. Where are you located?

Ron Ruggerio in Philadelphia is highly recommended. He has been working on high end stuff for as long as I can remember and I have personally seen him work miracles.

I was at Lark St. Music in Teaneck last night. They should be able to help. It's worth the trip just to see the vintage instruments.
