If anyone saved the Dudenbostel.leanside.com gallery that is no longer available, I would love to get ahold of that.

Hi Butch,
Are you talking about the mandolin build photo gallery? If so, I think that I might have squirreled it away.

Check out my web site for:
Jack Tottle music files
BBC Virtual Session files
O'Neill's PDFs
ITM Tunebooks, and more
That was a resource for me while it existed.
I was not aware it was no longer available. A great pity. I did save a copy, but am not sure it was complete, hopefully it is complete. I will try and get it back up as part of my web page since it is a great resource, but it will require a bit of work to remove broken links and some other irrelevant stuff so may take a while. My web site is archived by the Australian National Library Pandora system, which means it will be preserved and accessible for all time.
Just checked and my copy is complete except for
"Page 12 Sealing the color, varnishing, Pickguard and freting. Pictures 134 to 141"
If any one has a copy of page 12 I would appreciate if they could send me a copy. Looks like I have the pictures but not the html page.

It is up and running now, except for page 12. I am just waiting for Lynn's permission before I publish the link. Hopefully by then some one might send me page 12.

Please let us know when it is up.
Ok, I have Lynn's permission now. Here it is, minus page 12. I need to reconstruct page 12, but at least I now have the text so should be a doddle.
There is a link from my construction page

or direct -

It will take a while for Google to find it, so don't expect it to show up on Google searches for a while.

Thanks Peter and Dude.
Thank you Peter and Lynn for making this available to us again. I'm no builder, but I marvel at the process. This is simply wonderful.

Thanks for re-posting this Peter. I refer to these all the time and was sad to see that they were down. I wish we had access to the DIY program chronicling this build, Handmade Music. I've been searching for this without any luck. There were two "mini-series" episodes with Lynn, one building a mandolin and the other building a D-28 style guitar. They have been discussed here before.

Lynn started the discussion in this thread and discusses the original release of the videos!
