Finish safe straps

I never take my Bill Bailey strap off and it contacts the finish in the case even though I try not to but there has never been any finish problem with the Bailey strap . It is a beautiful strap and very comfortable.

As an update, here's my current set up until I can get something custom made that's nicer. Since I didn't want to use string for the simple fact that I can't tie a knot worth a hoot, this is actually a couple of inexpensive suede straps looped together with a strap button.
