    Default The Mandolin Store

About 1 hour ago my new Kentucky KM1050 arrived via FedEx and I have to say it is an absolutely beautiful instrument. I cant wait for the acclimation period to be over so I can tune and play it, but I didn't write this to brag on my new mandolin. I wrote it to tell everyone what a wonderful experience I had buying it.

Dennis and Brian at The Mandolin Store made my purchase one of the most pleasurable experiences I've had. Even though all of our dealings were via phone and email and I have never met either of them in person, I feel like we have been friends for some time.

There was minor "hick-up" with my purchase but Dennis and Brian were very quick to correct it. They both went WAY above my expectations. Actually, they made the experience fun! (and the "hick-up" was not their fault)

Suffice it to say; if you are in the market for a mandolin I would strongly suggest that you make The Mandolin Store your first choice, because the odds are you want need to look anywhere else.

Thank you again Dennis and Brian,
    Randy Linam

They are good folks. I bought my Lafferty from them a few years ago and it was a great experience.

Brian just helped me last week with my Eastman, great experience. I asked if they had any B-stock or blems, got a great deal. There was a tiny bit of marking where the bridge moved during setup. Saved enough to cover tax, shipping, and a bunch of goodies like straps and picks. Needless to say, I'm thrilled, and the instrument sounds like a dream.

It's a good thing they are across the country, it could probably put a strain on a marriage! I bet working there would be unreal!

Absolutely agree. The guys out there in Surprise do a phenomenal job of customer service. I've bought several instruments from them and they remain my first "go to" when MAS strikes.
    Cheers,

Love them! I've not purchased an instrument there, but had a pickup installed in my former Breedlove and setup done as well. They're top notch. I'd recommend Dennis and the team to anyone who's in the market for another instrument or even accessories. Simply put, their level of service and genuine kindness blew me away.

The acclimation period is to the let the instrument come to the temperature of the room it is in. Having said how beautiful it is makes it sound like you have already opened it. If this is the case then you might as well tune it up and play it.

I've purchased quite a bit from them over the years, including two mandolins. Nothing but great service, great communication and great products.

Dennis and Brian are the best. I've bought two Lafferty's from them and I am well pleased. They even worked with me on a custom build so I got exactly what I wanted.
