    Default O Holy Night

This is a re-post from the "Play your favorite Christmas Carol" thread in the General section, for any of my friends who seldom venture out of this area and may want to hear and see it (apologies if you already have!) This is my multi-media, multi-track presentation of the well-known carol composed in 1847 by Adolphe Adam, and first known as "Cantique de Noël".

My instrumental arrangement features an OM (converted Baby Taylor), my viola, my Mid-Missouri M-2 mandolin x3 on the tremolos, and my John Weisberg mandola in the 3rd verse solo. We're sending links to this video as our "musical Christmas card" this year.

Enjoy, and a very Merry Christmas to all!

I recorded O, Holy Night using an arrangement and backing track from Jay Buckey's Mandolin Christmas book.
