Wondering if anyone has tried these :

The concept sounds interesting, I'm just wondering if they're "stiff" enough to do some light sanding / reshaping before I order a few?

Would be interesting to try, but I have my doubts because the thickest available is 1.0 mm. Many mandolinists want thicker than that. Cheap enough to try though.

Cool picks are my favorite picks.
I think, therefore, I pick.
"Cool Picks" are not bad, in my opinion, but I've had difficulty with those that have an oval insert (as opposed to an oval just stamped in). On more than one occasion, the insert has come loose. This was a couple of years ago and they may have improved production techniques since then.
I've used these in the past...but they seem to wear very quickly.
Received some of the Cool Ultras today (triangle .80 and 1.0). Interesting but not for me...they have a grip on them that feels tacky. Very bright sound which isn't what I was looking for. So far Wegen TF's and a beveled Fender Heavy are working best for me.
