Default Early One Morning, mandolin quartet

This is a famous English folk song (with its own Wikipedia page here), variously arranged by Benjamin Britten and Percy Grainger. However, the arrangement I have recorded is by Steve Hendricks:

I'm switching the melody around between bowlback mandolin, played all tremolo, and tenor guitar.

    1890s Umberto Ceccherini mandolin
    1921 Gibson Ajr mandolin
    Ozark tenor guitar
    Suzuki MC-815 mandocello

    Early one morning,
Just as the sun was rising,
    I heard a young maiden,
    In the valley below.

    CHORUS:
    Oh, don't deceive me,
    Oh, never leave me,
    How could you use
    A poor maiden so?

Quite lovely tune, Martin. And, again, an interesting collection of art. Several pieces looked positively American.
