What is the proper way to play the parts to this O'Carolan tune as it is written... A B C(chorus) or ACBC ?

Straight through top to bottom no repeats.
I have never seen an O'Carolan tune with a section marked "Chorus".
As Mike and Jeff say. If the part had to be repeated then convention has it that the two bar lines which mark the end of each part would have a colon before them, and the opening bar would have the 2 lines with the colon after them, as: ||: :||
Incidentally. here is a link to my version on YouTube where I do repeat the sections, whether rightly or wrongly!

Great stuff John. I go with your decisions on the repeats.
I would have started out repeating each of the three sections, and I might have even tried that ACBC, where its like an alternating B part, but I think eventually I would have come around to doing it your way. It is more interesting and pleasing. And it is consistent with so many O'Carolan tunes where the A part is repeated and the B part, often fancier, is twice as long and needs no repeat.
So "as written" no repeats, but what the artist does with "as written" is an entirely different consideration.
